Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork™
As a Technology Partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork™, Delta Motion delivers a hydraulic motion control solution to complement the Allen Bradley PLCs. Rockwell recommends Delta’s RMC motion controllers to replace the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix “analog” motion modules: 1756-HYD02, 1756-M02AS, and 1756-M02AE.
Delta’s RMC controllers provide solid integration with Rockwell:
- EtherNet/IP communication
RMC motion controllers support both implicit (cyclic) and explicit messaging with Allen Bradley PLCs
- Import Tags into Logix Designer
RMCTools exports tags via Rockwell’s L5K import/export file for importing into Logix Designer in Studio 5000
- Add On Instructions (AOI)
Delta provides AOI’s for motion instructions that are similar to Allen-Bradely motion instructions. For migration from HYD02 or M02AS modules to the RMC controllers, these AOI’s allow the general PLC ladder logic flow to be preserved.
- CIP Bridge - Coming Soon
Delta’s RMCTools software can connect to RMC motion controllers via bridging through ControlLogix or CompactLogix Ethernet ports, simplifying commissioning and maintenance of RMCs in plants with separate machine and factory networks.
- Extensive documentation
Delta provides detailed instructions and videos for setting up communications between RMC motion controllers and Allen Bradley PLCs.
